Oops, a little delayed in this week’s blog post, but I’ve been on yet another trip to Bristol and Bath as well as spending an evening with my fabulous ride or die girls…

As we all know the Black Friday sales were recently upon us, and like many many many ladies I too overindulged in the crazy clothing discounts. I was planning ahead though, and picked up a lot of summer pieces for my newly booked trip to Marrakech in March twenty-eighteen, and a few snuggly pieces for my travels to Iceland this Christmas (less than a month to go, can you believe it?!). So here it is, my autumn (*cough*blackfriday*cough*) haul.

Firstly please let me apologise for some of the most awkward outfit posing you’ve ever seen. My face is not expression equipped for such photos, but I gave it a good go.

Pretty Little Thing     Pretty Little Thing

I was really unsure about ordering these shorts, but in the sale at £5 I thought 'why not'. Well, they arrived and I'm absolutely in love. They're certainly not something I'd normally consider for myself; they're very feminine, have a floral print, are light blue, and covered in ruffles. These shorts just scream 'girly', and that's never been a look for me, but I really am loving these shorts a lot. They're comfortable, they're high waisted, and they're flattering - what more could a girl want.

Pretty Little Thing     Pretty Little Thing

Also from Pretty Little Thing is this lovely jersey, double-split, maxi skirt in grey. I am really really loving split maxi skirts lately, and definitely have a few more to show you later on in the haul, but I wanted a basic grey skirt that I could wear casually during the day or dress up a little as and when needed. This one is super comfy and fits so well. The material is a lovely quality jersey too, and is a fabulously affordable £7 in their sale.

boohoo     boohoo

Again I was really unsure about this outfit combo, and I was still a little unsure when it arrived and I tried it on, but the more I look at it the more I love it. The caged white crop top is versatile, as you can see it's paired with a number of shorts and skirts so far, and is a painless £5. The skirt is only a fraction more at £6, and is a really flattering fit. Vertical stripes are far more flattering than horizontal, and the two items pair really well together for a perfect day time outfit.

boohoo     boohoo

You may remember this mink bodysuit from my Scenic Scandi haul, but I absolutely love it and it teams so well with this coral double-split maxi skirt. Both items are from boohoo; the bodysuit at £7 and the maxi skirt also at £7. There are also a few colour options for both items, and so I bought the bodysuit in black. Why not! I do prefer 'tall' bodysuits, but that's down to preference due to my bust size... the tall just fits better. This is my favourite skirt of the haul, I love the colour, I love the fit, I love love love it and I honestly can't wait to parade it around summery destinations.

Pretty similar to the bodysuit and the white crop top, but in the sale at £3 it really wasn't going to hurt. It also teams so well with some fancy 'night out' skirts that I previously bought from boohoo (you can see that haul here). I have such a hard time finding crop tops that fully cover my bust, but this (and the similar white option) really do the job nicely. I'm also loving the caged style right now. More of it and less bardots please.

Green Playsuit - H&M

Unfortunately H&M aren't stocking this fabulous deep-green jersey playsuit anymore, sob sob, but they do have a variety of other playsuits that you can find here - I'm actually loving a few of these strappy options and may bag a few more before the New Year. I love a good playsuit, they can be so versatile - throw on a pair of heels or a pair of strappy sandals for a great night or day look. Such a good last minute find. I'd never ever pick a deep green for myself, but I really loved the colour and just had to have it. It's a great fit too.

Primark     Primark
Pink Cardigan - Primark

I picked up this little cardigan on a complete whim whilst wandering around Bath one morning. I had a few hours to spare so wandered in, foolishly. Go a size smaller with this one, I'm comfortably wearing a 'small' but would normally go for a medium. The pink is a lovely blush colour, and the white stripes just add a little something extra. The label read £13, but when I got to the till it turned out to only be a £10 bargain, hurrah!

Open Back White Jumper - Primark

Again I picked this little jumper up during my little adventure to Bath, and it turned out to be another amazing bargain at only £3. I must've been having a lucky five minutes! The jumper dons a draw-string tie on each sleeve (which can get really annoying) and an open back. I'm not normally a fan of an open/plunge back, but with a little vest top underneath it's no issue. It's such a comfortable jumper, and there was only a large left in the whole shop - luckily it fit with a little 'over-sized' comfort, and I absolutely love it.

There you have it, my fabulous little autumn haul. I am really loving all of these pieces, and what a great time of year to buy for summer trips, I'll have to be this clever in future. You can't beat a great little sale. Did you find anything brilliant in the autumn sales this year? Share them with me below!
